We currently have a supply of RABIES vaccines (despite worldwide shortage)

THE NEW MENINGITIS B & FLU VACCINATIONS ARE AVAILABLE

LISBURN TRAVEL CLINIC IS A YELLOW FEVER CENTRE. 

NHS VACCINES (Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Dip/Tetanus/Polio) CAN BE AVAILABLE **FREE** on prescription  (unlike other providers who charge)

Appointments are essential and can be made by telephoning (we can facilitate last minute travellers)

028 9250 1281.

Ideally you should make your appointment to see the Specialist Nurse at least 6 – 8 weeks prior to travel; please bear in mind that clinics can vary due to seasonal demand, therefore it is advisable to ensure you allow 1 – 2 weeks to get an appointment.

Groups
If you are travelling as part of a large group we can arrange for a nurse to come and speak to your group about the general risks and recommendations for the specific area you are travelling to.

Not registered in Lisburn Health Centre?

YOU ARE ENTITLED TO NHS VACCINES FREE OF CHARGE -

OTHER CLINICS CHARGE!!

 

Patients who are not registered with a GP in Lisburn Health Centre can attend Lisburn Travel Clinic where they can receive a risk assessment, travel advice and ALL vaccines. Those available on private prescription include Hepatitis B, Rabies,Meningitis, Japanese Encephalitis, Tick borne Encephalitis and Yellow Fever. You will also be able to get Malaria advice and prescriptions from Lisburn Travel Clinic.

With regard to the vaccines which are available on the NHS, the nurse will advise you what is recommended or required for the areas you are travelling to, and discuss the most cost-effective way to have these administered.
